About Hopewell Affordable Sales

Princeton Community Housing serves as the Administrative Agent for Hopewell Township's Affordable Sales Program. When an affordable home becomes available for sale, PCH works with the Township's Municipal Housing Liaison to identify an eligible low- or moderate-income purchaser.

Affordable homes may be located in the Brandon Farms and Pennington Point developments, as well as on selected properties along Wrick Avenue and Minnietown Lane in Hopewell Township.

As the Administrative Agent, PCHDC is responsible for:

  • Overseeing the sales affordability controls

  • Affirmative marketing of each resale

  • Processing all sales applications

  • Completing household income certifications

  • Maintaining the sales wait list of income eligible applicants

  • Maintaining close coordination with the Municipal Housing Liaison regarding affordable housing matters, as applicable.

  • Furnishing to attorneys/closing agents the forms required at closing (deed, mortgage and note)

  • Maintaining close contact with the Municipal Housing Liaison on all affordable sales matters
