This page provides all the information needed to apply for housing. Please review carefully before beginning your application. If you have any questions or need assistance with the application process, please contact us. We're happy to help!

APPLY FOR ALL RENTALS
Use the buttons below to download our comprehensive application in English or Spanish. This application can be used to apply for housing at Princeton Community Village (PCV), Elm Court, Harriet Bryan House (HBH), Griggs Farm, Princeton Rentals, and Merwick Stanworth.
If you are applying for only one community, please select only that property on your application.
Please keep the following in mind:
Each community has its own eligibility requirements. For example, Elm Court and Harriet Bryan House (HBH) are designated for seniors aged 62 and older.
Each site has its own waitlist.
Wait times can average one to three years from the date of application, depending on the property and unit type.
Each site also has its own income guidelines, which are part of the preliminary screening for waitlist eligibility.
Once your application is received, you will be notified via mail regarding your waitlist status.
When a unit becomes available, notification letters are mailed to the preliminary applicants to submit detailed income documents and for further processing of the application.
A full credit/criminal background check is part of the eligibility.
PCH does not manage every affordable rental community in Princeton.

APPLY FOR HOPEWELL SALES
Princeton Community Housing serves as the Administrative Agent for the Township of Hopewell’s Affordable Sales Program. From time to time, there may be low and/or moderate-income homes and condos available for purchase.
Follow the same steps as above in the APPLY FOR ALL RENTALS section to apply for the Hopewell Township Affordable Sales Program, with the application linked below.

Princeton Community Village (PCV)
PCV is PCH’s first and largest neighborhood, with 263 homes throughout the community. The neighborhood includes townhouses along its "rows", two mid-rise apartment buildings (Holly House and the Jim and Fannie Floyd House), a community garden, and the Ted Vial Clubhouse. Apply directly online here.

Elm Court
Elm Court serves Princeton’s very low-income senior residents (62+) as well as non-seniors who require the accessible features of a handicap-accessible unit, as defined by HUD. The community includes 88 homes and many communal areas, including a community garden.

Harriet Bryan House (HBH)
Harriet Bryan House sits adjacent to Elm Court. It includes 67 homes for very low-income senior residents (62+). Residents enjoy access to the same spaces as their neighbors at Elm Court.

Griggs Farm
PCH owns and manages 70 low-income units at Griggs Farm, an inclusionary community that includes affordable homes alongside privately owned market-rate homes, condominiums, and moderate-income ownership units.

Hopewell Affordable Sales
PCH serves as the Administrative Agent for the Township of Hopewell’s Affordable Sales Program. When low- or moderate-income homes become available for sale, PCH works with Hopewell Township’s Municipal Liaison to identify an eligible new homeowner. The sales program has a separate application from the rentals. Find it here.

Princeton Affordable Rentals
Princeton Rentals consists of scattered-site affordable rental units throughout Princeton. This portfolio includes PCH Homes, which owns and manages three townhouse units. For the remaining units, PCH serves as Administrative Agent for the Municipality of Princeton and other local property owners. Apply directly online here.

Merwick Stanworth
Merwick Stanworth is a residential community affiliated with Princeton University that includes 325 townhomes and apartments, primarily serving Princeton University faculty and staff. Of these homes, 56 are designated as affordable housing. PCH serves as the Administrative Agent for the affordable homes in coordination with Princeton University. Apply directly online here.
