About Princeton Affordable Rentals
Since 2011, Princeton Community Housing (PCH) has served as the Administrative Agent for the Municipality of Princeton's Affordable Rental Program. PCH administers the program on behalf of the Municipality of Princeton and other local property owners, helping ensure that income-qualified households have access to affordable housing opportunities in the community.
Additionally, PCH owns and manages PCH Homes, which includes three affordable townhouse rental homes.
As the Administrative Agent, PCHDC is responsible for:
Overseeing rental affordability controls
Affirmative marketing for each rental property
Processing all rental applications
Completing household income certifications
Maintaining the rental waitlist of income eligible applicants
Informing owners of annual rental adjustments set by NJ UHAC
Conducting random selection lotteries as needed
PCHDC administers the affordable rentals program in accordance with the Uniform Housing Affordability Controls (UHAC), as set forth in N.J.A.C. 5:80-26.1 et seq., and applicable State of New Jersey affordable housing regulations. Learn more here.

Applicants may also apply to all PCH rental communities by downloading and completing the application below (available in English and Spanish) and submitting it by mail, email, or in person to:
