Danny Hanna

“I’ve lived in Princeton my whole life – PCV has been my home all the way through!”

Born and raised in Princeton, Daniel (Danny) Hanna attended Riverside Elementary School, John Witherspoon Middle School, and Princeton High School.

“From playing basketball with the neighborhood kids at Hill Top Park to shutting myself in my room to study for a few hours, this community has influenced my life by serving as a safe space to focus on my growth – personal, academic, and professional.”

In May of 2020, he graduated from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) with his bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering.  Danny was the recipient of multiple college scholarships from both the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) and the New Jersey Affordable Housing Management Association (JAHMA). “These scholarships have been one of the greatest blessings of my life. Being honored with these awards has helped relieve the burden and stress associated with higher education finances and gave me the opportunity to focus on the more important matters at hand like assessment, projects, and exams.”

Since graduating from TCNJ, Danny has found an exciting and rewarding career as a Network Operations Engineer. He credits his home environment, the PCV community, and his education for allowing him to increase his knowledge and his confidence so that he can take on the challenges that lie ahead.
