Dr. Charlene St. Clair

Born and raised in Princeton, Dr. Charlene St. Clair, a second-generation Haitian immigrant, moved to Princeton Community Village (PCV) in 1991 and lived there until 2020. “If it wasn’t for Princeton Community Village, I do not think that we could have been able to live in Princeton for as long as we have – we couldn’t have afforded it.”

Dr. St. Clair attended St. Paul School of Princeton and Princeton High School.  She graduated with her bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in 2008 and earned her Doctor of Optometry from Salus University in 2013.  Dr. St. Clair has over 10 years of clinical experience. Currently, she cares for geriatric and developmentally delayed patients at more than 15 health care facilities in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

“I feel very fortunate that I have been able to live in Princeton - a wonderful town with a rich culture. If you are blessed to live in this town, the exposure that you have to this culture shapes you in a positive way.”
