Why PCH? Why were you interested in joining the PCH Board and working for affordable housing in Princeton? And how long have you been on the Board?

I have had the opportunity in my professional life to oversee housing for many years and witnessed the impact stable, affordable shelter options can have on an individual and families, particularly when access to high-quality education is also provided.  The mission and work of PCH, particularly the efforts of our founding members, is very inspiring.  I have served on a combination of the Community and DC Boards since 2003.

What is your professional background?

I have worked in higher education administration for over 30 years, overseeing service and operation functions across campus.

What other volunteer activities do you participate in?

Unfortunately, I am not currently engaged in other volunteer activities.

How long have you been in the Princeton area and why did you come to this community?

I relocated to Princeton in early 2000 from Oregon after having been recruited to work at Princeton University.

What are your hobbies and interests, specifically as they relate to housing?

I am fascinated by many aspects of real estate.  My husband and I nearly always are planning or executing a home improvement project and I monitor local real estate offerings in our current home area, where I grew up as well as where we might retire someday.   I also enjoy reading about the history of market forces to drive both overall real estate demand and where/how/why segregation of markets has been allowed or promoted.
